…or they risk further damage. They will never win, even though they should. It isn’t worth it to keep trying to make your abusers see the light. They won’t. All of us need a refresher, and lately I certainly do. Family is more toxic and indifferent and abusive than ever.
The good new is, this is the FINAL break. There WILL be no more going back. It’s a relief to finally accept the truth and act accordingly. No more family of origin.
